We are very flexible and hope that you will give us the opportunity to tailor make your wonderful day. No request is too unusual and specific tastes can be readily catered for. We can accommodate from 10 to 200 guests in a choice of four rooms, or offer sole occupancy of the hotel's ground floor, catering for up to 300. The Cleve is licensed to host civil wedding ceremonies, allowing the happy couple to marry and celebrate under one roof.

Built by the Fox brothers and now run by the Clarke family, this English country house is the perfect place to meet, dine or relax and unwind. Peaceful gardens and magnificent views of the surrounding Blackdown hills offer a beautiful setting for your special day. Three acres of gardens including a large patio are a splendid backdrop for group photographs, as well as providing children with an ideal play area.

Combe House offers bespoke wedding packages tailored specifically to meet your wishes. Wedding parties from 10 to 200 people can be accommodated either inside the hotel or in our beautiful marquee located in the hotel grounds. Additionally the hotel can provide overnight accommodate for up to 35 wedding party guests and of course we have a beautiful ‘Honeymooners Suite’.

The Tenants Hall, located in the upper storey of the 15th-century gatehouse can seat an intimate 55 guests and is perfect for summer ceremonies. It is lit by Tudor windows and chandeliers, which hang from its open timberwork roof. Civil Ceremonies can take place on Fridays and Saturdays at 1pm or 3pm throughout the year, subject to availability

With this in mind we have designed packages for you to consider, but are also delighted to discuss your own specific requirements.

The Dunster Tithe Barn dates back to the early 16th Century. In 2006 the Barn was transformed into a magnificent wedding venue and is now considered to be one of the finest such facilities in West Somerset. The Tithe Barn can accomodate up to 120 guests for a seated reception and 180 guests for your evening party!

At Holiday Inn, we appoint a personal wedding organiser dedicated to ensuring that your most important day goes without a hitch, and also that the hotel meets your expectations as the perfect wedding venue.

We have straw bales, tables & benches available for seating and dining outside too. During autumn and winter you may hold your reception in the dining hall with crackling log fires, seating up to 50 guests

Wigborough Manors estate is the perfect and most romantic setting to host your wedding day. Your wedding can be held in the enchanting gardens and grounds of the manor, where guests can enjoy drinks in front of the beautiful ham stone house, followed by a meal and dancing in the marquee set up for your reception.

The other most popular option is to have your marquee reception overlooking the polo field, so your guests can sip at their champagne while watching the polo against the beautiful back drop of the Somerset countryside.

For private functions from Weddings & Receptions to Birthday Parties the house is exclusively yours for the duration. We try to be as flexible as possible so whether you want tea and cakes on the lawn or a live band in the Orchard Suite, the house and grounds are available for you and your guests to use however you wish.
